The Brighter Day Project
The Brighter Day Project was started in the summer of 2012 with one goal in mind – make people smile. We designed simple and graphic signage with uplifting messages and installed them in various locations throughout the Tri-State area. The idea was to encourage people to find happiness in unexpected places.
The process was documented and a viral campaign was launched via Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. The project’s website, BrighterDayProject.com keeps an on-going record of when and where signs have been posted. We encourage visitors to participate by providing free downloadable artwork for each sign.

This project was featured in the book Street Messages by Nicholas Ganz. This book showcases a collection of typographic messages in public spaces from around the world. Take a look inside this book on Amazon.
