Known for their Food Network show, bestselling cookbook, and signature spice blends, the Grill Dads, Mark Anderson and Ryan Fey, have built a brand around grilling with confidence and not taking themselves too seriously. When they came to us to launch Grill’n Time, they wanted to ditch the clichés and create something that felt clean, confident, and unmistakably theirs.
We explored several Americana-inspired directions before landing on a custom-lettered wordmark with just the right attitude. Instead of relying on spatulas or grill marks, we kept it simple: strong typography, spot flavor illustrations, and a no-gimmicks design system that puts the product front and center. Tequila Smoke, the lead flavor, set the tone for the color palette and visual identity.










Beyond The Can
After finalizing the brand identity, we carried the look across a range of marketing materials. This included both in-store promotions and a custom-designed website that brought the brand’s bold personality into the digital space. As a result, every touchpoint consistently reflects the Grill Dads’ voice: simple, confident, and made to stand out.
